‘The Kytherian’ Newsletter is a monthly publication that is issued to all current members.

It primarily keeps them informed of upcoming functions within the Kytherian community, whether they are Church services, AGM’s, academic lectures, the annual Ball or dinner dances, the Ladies’ Auxiliary’s morning teas or lunches, 4WD events or trivia nights, movie days or other activities for the Kytherian youth etc.

It also consists of social news; births, Christenings, birthdays, graduations, weddings, engagements, etc. It is a means of connecting Kytherians and their friends all over Australia as well as those members in the US and UK and of course Greece (even as far as Mt Athos).

Readers are encouraged to contribute articles of interest to the newsletter, especially when they relate to Kythera itself. An example of this is upcoming archaeological digs and symposiums on the island that are planned for the summer months. The newsletter in recent years, has transformed from a black & white newsletter to a coloured magazine.
