Description
Evzones refers to members of the Presidential Guard, an elite ceremonial unit that guards the Greek Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Presidential Mansion and the gate of Evzones camp in Athens.
This book is a compilation of photos taken by reknown photographer Nick Bourdaniotis. The photos of the Evzones are said to be among the best seen and many of these photos have been published in books documenting the history of the Evzones.
The most recent publication was the 150 Years of the Evzones, released by the Greek Presidential Guard themselves.
