The Kytherian Association of Australia who celebrated its 100 year anniversary in 2022, has immortalised its activities from its inception in 1922 to 1972 in the first volume of the book Ekato. The book chronicles the associations first 50 years.
Author Vasilis Vasilas says that “connecting Australia’s Kytherians to the broader Australian society is where the Kytherian Association of Australia’s enduring success and longevity lies; it has acheived the perfect balance between the old homeland of Kythera and the adopted homeland of Australia and the perpetuation of strong connections between both’.
The book was launched in March 2024 and is a historical must have book in every Kytherian home.
