After life as a chemical engineer and TV producer, Aris Tsaravopoulos turned to achaeology. From 1980 to 2012, he was a membr of the Archaeological Service of the Greek Ministry of Culture. He has been involved with many Greek sites.
Ari Tsaravopoulos has spent 15 years of continuous excavation in Kythera and Antikythera. This volume includes scholarly and personal texts, studies, and memories dedicated to Aris Tsaravopoulos, an important figure who left his mark on the cultural and research life of Kythera and beyond.
Generously funded by the Nicholas A Aroney Trust with the aim of preserving Kytherian heritage, this 418 page book contains 29 articles in Greek and English from more than 30 contributors.
